Project Overview – Fantasy Sports App Development

Fantasy Sports is a type of online gaming platform for game of skills. It has a season long fantasy sports leagues for Cricket and Soccer. Here participants assemble and create virtual teams of any professional sports. The teams compete on the basis of statistical performances of the selected players in actual games. The motive of the client was to provide online Fantasy Sports App that reaches to all fantasy sports fans.

Challenges

Initially the client had web based application for Fantasy sports, but then they had a concern of increased bounce rate and some technical difficulties. The version of their existing web application was very congested. They contacted Let’s Nurture for the technical support. Moreover, they also decided to go for the fantasy sports Mobile application.

Involvement

Client hired Let’s Nurture to get their website redeveloped and a fresh fantasy sports app development. Website had PHP 7.1 as a backend on Yii framework. The other technologies included were jQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, Bootstrap and MySQL 5.7. The Android app was build using Android Studio and Java where as iOS in Xcode and Swift.
Initially the in-house version of the client’s existing application was congested, so we rebuilt the fantasy sport app from the scratch. Content was handled from the backend admin panel.
